Remember that there are a million ways to photograph a single object. Get in the habit of moving and approaching you subject matter from several vantage points. One view maybe be good for one application when yet another may be good for another. In these two examples, one has more impact than the other. It's the same scene, just two vantage points. The more bold image has impact due to it's simplicity and lack of distracting elements within the frame. Move, that's the only way you'll find out what's on the other side!
