We talked this week about the translation of color into a BW image. Certain colors will follow certain tonal outcomes. I am posting 3 images of which one is color, one is de-saturated and the other is a duo-tone. Technically the duo-tone is color but as you can see in the example, gives you a richer BW image. The color image that I am using is very monochromatic in it's appearance and thus does not give a good example as to color change in BW tone. The only saving grace for this image is the lighting. Remember that light and contrast play key rolls in the outcome of your images.
