In our discussion this week concerning composition, one aspect we talked about was point of interest. What is the subject matter and how is it composed within the image frame. Sometimes close-up is better. In the photos for this example I have three images. One is from a distance that depicts the surrounding area. Yes, it gives it a location but it has no interest nor impact. The next is closer in and fills the frame adding interest. The last is of a drop of water falling off the berry. Remember to allow your images to have action. Give them some life. By adding this one simple element of water drops, the image has more intrigue.
