The first shot is much less successful for the reason that the assignment calls for members of a national association engaging their members of congress. Now the first is of a woman talking to her congressman. However, this shot does not convey what is going on in the foreground and background. The second shot works better for the reason that it conveys emotion and engagement. Other images from this series work in concert to give a fuller story.
